GOOD TIPS for cleaning and storing nail brushes !
- Don’t forget to initiate your gel nail brushes before using them for the first time! Here’s how:
- As the first step in “initiating” artificial nail brushes remove the adhesive from between the hairs of the brush, you can do this by constantly crumbling and twisting the brush head. The adhesive will fall as tiny white pieces from between the brush hairs. Sweep the head of the brush with your fingers until you completely remove the adhesive, otherwise they will be visible later when applying the gel during artificial nail construction.
- After that, on a clean surface (a template paper, plexiglass, gel palette price, etc.), take out a little transparent artificial nail gel or gloss gel. Dip the brush and rotate it thoroughly, “work” it into the gel so that it completely covers it. Wipe with a lint-FREE Paper towel then reshape the brush to its original shape and place the protective cap on it.
- Make sure that your nail brushed are only used for one type of material group / nail technique! That is, the brush with which you used to make porcelain nail decorations should not be used for gel decorations the next time.
- Store your gel nail brushes protected from sunlight. After use, pull the protective cap back on your brush to protect it from possible injury. To store your nail brushes, choose from our different brush container so you can easily organize them and they’ll always be at hand.
- Your gel nail brushes DO NOT wash as gel material should remain between the hairs of the brush. After each use, just wipe them with a threadless paper towel . If coloured gel or glitter remains in the brush, you can clean your artificial nail brushes as follows:
- Take out a little of transparent nail gel or gloss gel on a clean surface (e.g. a template paper, plexiglass, one of the compartments of the gel palette, etc.). Dip the brush you want to clean and swirl it into the clear UV gel, then wipe it with a lint-free paper towel. Repeat this process until the coloured material/mica is cleared from the brush hairs. Format the brush back to its original shape and attach the protective cap.
- Wash you acrylic nail brushes thoroughly in liquid during and after work to avoid getting tangled up. If the porcelain material has accidentally got into the brush’s hair, wrapped in a foil soaked in artificial nail release liquid we can remove the softened material from among the hairs after a few minutes of soaking. After that, be sure to style the brush hair back to its original state and put on the protective cap.
- For your coloured and white porcelain nail materials, you should use a separate liquid storage jar.
- Wash your water colour or acrylic decorative thoroughly with plenty of water continuously, both during and after the workflow. Then reshape the brush to its original shape and put the protective cap on it.
