GOOD TIPS for cleaning and storing nail art brushes :
- Don’t forget to prime your gel nail brushes before using them for the first time! Here’s how:
- As the first step in “initiating” the artificial nail brushes, remove the glue from the brush bristles, you can do this by constantly shaking and twisting the brush head. The glue will then fall from the brush bristles in the form of tiny, white pieces. Sweep the brush head with your fingers until you completely remove the glue, otherwise they will be visible later, when applying the gel during the artificial nail build-up!
- Then, on a clean surface (a stencil, plexiglass, Gel palette price , etc.), take a small amount of transparent nail gel or gel polish . Dip the brush and swirl it thoroughly, “working” it into the gel so that it is completely covered. Wipe it with a lint-free paper towel , then shape the brush back to its original shape and place the protective cap on it.
- Make sure to use your nail art brushes exclusively for one type of material group/nail art technique! That is, do not use the brush you used to create porcelain nail decorations for gel decorations next time.
- Store your gel nail art brushes out of sunlight. After use, put the protective cap back on your brush to protect it from possible damage. Choose from our different brush holders to store your nail art brushes , so you can easily organize them and always have them at hand.
- DO NOT wash your gel nail brushes , as there should be some gel left between the bristles of the brush. After each use, simply wipe them with a lint-free paper towel . If there is any colored gel or glitter left in the brush, you can clean your nail brushes as follows:
- Take a small amount of clear nail gel or glitter gel and place it on a clean surface (e.g. stencil paper, plexiglass, one of the compartments of a Gel palette , etc.). Dip and swirl the brush you want to clean into the clear UV gel, then wipe it with a lint-free paper towel . Repeat this process until the colored material/glitter is removed from the brush bristles. Shape the brush back to its original shape and replace the protective cap.
- Wash your watercolor or acrylic decorative brushes thoroughly with plenty of water, both during and after the work process. Then, shape the brush back to its original shape and put the protective cap on it.
