GOOD TIPS for cleaning and storing artificial nail brushes:
- Before using for the first time, do not forget to open your gel artificial nail brushes! Here’s how:
1. As a first step in “initiating” the nail brushes , remove the adhesive from the brush hairs, you can do this by constantly crushing and twisting the brush head. The glue will then fall out of the brush hairs as tiny white pieces. Sweep the brush head with your fingers until the adhesive is completely removed, otherwise they will be visible later when applying the gel during the artificial nail construction!
2. Then, on a clean surface (on a template paper, plexiglass, the price of a gel palette , etc.), take a little transparent artificial nail gel or light gel . Dip the brush and swirl it thoroughly, “working” into the gel to completely cover it. Wipe with a lint-free paper towel , then reshape the brush to its original shape and place the protective cap on it.
- Make sure you only use one of your nail brushes for one type of material / nail technique. That is, your brush with which you made porcelain nail decoration before, do not use it next time for gel decorations.
- Store your gel nail brushes protected from sunlight. After use, pull the protective cap back on your brush to protect it from possible injury. To store your nail brushes, choose from our various brush holders so you can easily organize them and they will always be at hand.
- Do NOT wash your gel artificial nail brushes, as gel material should remain between the hairs in the brush. After each use, it is sufficient to wipe them with a lint-free paper towel . If color gel or glitter remains in the brush, here’s how to clean your artificial nail brushes:
Remove a small amount of clear artificial nail gel or light gel onto a slightly clean surface (eg a template paper, plexiglass, one compartment of the Gel palette , etc.). Dip and brush the brush you want to clean into the clear UV gel, then wipe with a lint-free paper towel . Repeat this process until the colored material / glitter is removed from the brush hairs. Format the brush back to its original shape and place the protective cap on it.
- Wash your watercolor or acrylic decorative brushes thoroughly with plenty of water continuously, during and after the work process. Then reshape the brush to its original shape and place the protective cap on it.
